Our Digital Health Innovation Sprint takes you and your organization on a journey to reimagine how healthcare can be designed, delivered and experienced for the digital age. Whether you are a clinician, administrator, developer, designer – or simply have a great idea, the Digital Health Innovation Sprint will support you every step of the way to take a fresh perspective through the lens of design thinking and develop, test and validate digital health solutions that can deliver a positive impact to the people and communities you serve.
1 :: DISCOVERY DAY
This half-day workshop brings together frontline clinicians and administrators to explore and identify high-impact problems across your health system, through the lens of design thinking.
2 :: DEFINE DAY
Following reverse pitches of shortlisted problems by Subject Matter Experts, participants form multi-disciplinary teams and ideate potential solutions.
3 :: DESIGN DAY
Teams will gain practical support and guidance from industry mentors, enjoy complimentary access to software APIs and hardware technologies, and participate in design thinking workshops.
4 :: DEMO DAY
Each team will pitch their proposed solution and business case to a panel of judges. Pitches will be evaluated across a range of criteria, including technical feasibility, impact of solution, customer experience, and commercial viability.
5 :: PROTOTYPING
Selected solutions enter a 12-week acceleration program hosted by a local accelerator who will facilitate rapid prototyping of the solution and the development of a robust business case.
6 :: MVP PILOTING
Testing and validation of the Minimum Viable Product will be championed by the Health System. By the conclusion of the pilot, there should be enough data and feedback to determine whether the solution is ready to scale and commercialize.
