Anton Ilarionov is a results-driven executive leader with 15+ years of experience directing high-stakes, multi-million-dollar global digital health transformation and growth initiatives across Latin America, Europe, and the United States, as well as with multilateral organizations, including the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization.
He has a proven ability to engineer market entry, secure large-scale multilateral funding, and drive complex execution for national-level health system modernization. He specializes in building integrated health ecosystems through data interoperability, health technology, Insurtech, and deploying value-based analytics to deliver measurable financial and operational results.
He is the Co-Founder and CEO of SAC Digital Health, where he has supported more than 12 countries in implementing large-scale digital transformation initiatives. His work spans national infrastructure development and the design of scalable, technology-enabled health systems.
Earlier in his career, he served as an advisor to three Ministers of Health in Costa Rica, where he led the successful implementation of several national programs, including the National Cancer Registry, the National Vaccination System, the National Epidemiological Surveillance System, and the Digital Prescription System.
He is also a researcher and co-editor of the Hispano-American Journal of Health Sciences, a scientific journal contributing to the advancement of knowledge in digital health and health informatics.
He holds a Master’s degree and is a PhD candidate in Health Informatics at the University of Alcalá in Madrid, Spain.
